Ok, so I was overly optimistic…
...and overly foolish. I had my DNS
screwed up for pointing to the new blog. So that future generations may
learn from my mistake, the IP address in your A record should point to
YOUR WEB SERVER AND NOT YOUR WEB HOST’S OWN NAME SERVERS.
I’m
hoping (and becoming overly optimistic again) that the new A record
will propagate quickly. Then I’ll be in business. So that’s that.
Something
else I’ve wanted to mention. We’ve had record heat for the past few
days here in DFW. We also have a killer hurricane headed this way, a
type of weather system that is fueled by warm water.
