If someone demanded that I give them some advice, I think that I would have to start with a few rules I’ve tried to live by these 33 years. These simple yet powerful nuggets of wisdom wouldn’t make anyone prettier, richer or more famous, but they can’t hurt. And the Internet *is* all about sharing.

The first rule reads: Never trust a skinny chef

That’s not to say all skinny chefs aren’t trustworthy. What I’m saying here is that you shouldn’t put your faith in someone who isn’t passionate about their work. It can be simple as providing great customer service, building killer websites (hint, hint) or helping you pick the right wine to complement a juicy steak. The idea is that you seek out these experts and they share their knowledge and interest with you. It’s a great way to learn. Or just a great way to get some advice.
