Well, hello there
by dharmapunk
Sorry about the recent absence. You would not believe the week-and-a-half I’ve had. Long story short, I had the truck in the shop not once, but twice.
With the hockey seasons around the corner, I should briefly mention that “Evgeni Malkin is now a Pittsburgh Penguin”:http://tinyurl.com/gyhqv. It seems, from the article, that Metallurg may still pursue an injunction against Malkin and the Penguins. Meanwhile, there are many changes afoot in the NAHL as the Texas Tornado prepare for a run at a fourth straight title. I’ll outline those in a more detailed post.
Something that caught my eye today was “this posting”:http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2006/09/ted-talks-on-google-video.html over at the official Google Blog. While TED sounds like some elitist hobnob, some of those topics are downright interesting, like Sir Ken Robinson’s or Julia Sweeney’s. I will definitely have to check those out, though it’s a shame that Google Video doesn’t allow downloading. At least not to my knowledge. If any knows where the Magic Download Button is, drop a comment.
Finally, a question. Are you a deletionist or an inclusionist? Confused? Check out “this post by Nick Carr”:http://www.roughtype.com/archives/2006/09/a_fork_in_wikip.php on a rift developing in the annals of Wikipedia.
