Sorry about the recent absence. You would not believe the week-and-a-half I’ve had. Long story short, I had the truck in the shop not once, but twice.
With the hockey seasons around the corner, I should briefly mention that Evgeni Malkin is now a Pittsburgh Penguin. It seems, from the article, that Metallurg may still pursue an injunction against Malkin and the Penguins. Meanwhile, there are many changes afoot in the NAHL as the Texas Tornado prepare for a run at a fourth straight title. I’ll outline those in a more detailed post.
Something that caught my eye today was this posting over at the official Google Blog. While TED sounds like some elitist hobnob, some of those topics are downright interesting, like Sir Ken Robinson’s or Julia Sweeney’s. I will definitely have to check those out, though it’s a shame that Google Video doesn’t allow downloading. At least not to my knowledge. If any knows where the Magic Download Button is, drop a comment.
Finally, a question. Are you a deletionist or an inclusionist? Confused? Check out this post by Nick Carr on a rift developing in the annals of Wikipedia.
